News/Itinarary

The Wall: February 11, 2012  9p to 1am

1421West Beauregard Avenue

San Angelo, Tx

It'll be the first time we've played this venue since the change in ownership.  They kept Roy Rodriguez (the sound man) who always does a great job.  The place has been painted.  The lighting is much better, and it is, of course, a non-smoking facility.  They've done wonderful things to the inside of the club.

Come see the new look of the club and hear Clever Blue rock the house.  We haven't changed.  Same old guys.  I've switched to an old Marshall amp (it plays soooo clean) and a 52 Telecaster Hot Rod.  Sounds pretty good to me.  Ahmad Griffin (our new drummer) and Mark Findlay are the backbone of the group.  

We now have a reverbnation.com site.  It is, of course, Walt Carroll and Clever Blue.  We love traffic there.

We also have some new You Tube content.

Live in Alpine Texas:A couple of decent videos that were shot out at Railroad Blues in Alpine, Texas.  That, by the way, is a very nice club to play.  The people in the audience are great and supportive as are the staff and club owners.  A very cool place to play... did I say that?

Recipe Of The Day
The Almond Joy

1 shot of vodka
1 shot amaretto
1 shot creme de coca(dark)
1 12oz glass of milk

Mix ingredients and hang on!

Walt's Hot Sauce

Excellent for any occasion.  No cooking... just mix and eat.

1 can regular tomatoes
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/2 onion
5-6 serrano peppers (adjust to desired heat)
1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar
1-2 teaspoons of Tony's Original Creole Seasoning
1 clove of garlic

Mix dry ingredients with part of the tomatoes and blend (for you guys out there, yes in a blender). Then add the rest of the tomatoes and blend to desired consistency.
